Coinsetter, a cryptocurrency exchange, has announced plans to launch a blockchain-based settlement system called Project High Line.
The system will allow clients trading on the exchange to view their funds on the blockchain in near real time, without the need for an intermediary.
Coinsetter CEO Jaron Lukasiewicz said:
"Coinsetter's Project High Line is an important application of blockchain technology that reforms outdated clearing and settlement rails, just as the High Line Park, built over outdated railway infrastructure, has forever revitalised downtown New York and increased its value."
