Dapper Labs, the company behind the NBA Top Shot NFT marketplace, has laid off 134 employees, or 22% of its workforce.
In a blog post, CEO Roham Gharegozlou said the layoffs were necessary to ensure the "long-term health" of the company. He added that the decision was also made in response to the "macro environment" of the crypto industry.
