### FTX thuê cựu quan chức CFTC làm người đứng đầu quy định

### FTX hires former CFTC official as regulatory head
FTX, a cryptocurrency exchange, has hired former Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) official Brett Redfearn as its head of regulatory affairs.
Redfearn will be responsible for working with regulators in the U.S. and other jurisdictions to ensure that FTX's products and services are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
"We will be working alongside U.S. regulators to bring regulated digital asset markets to U.S. customers," said Redfearn in a statement.
Prior to joining FTX, Redfearn served as legal counsel to CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler, who now chairs the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
He also worked at the law firm Sullivan and Cromwell LLP, where he was a partner and co-head of its Commodities, Futures and Derivatives practice.
FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried told CoinDesk TV recently that the Hong Kong-based company plans to expand in the U.S. and that many of the obstacles to doing so were regulatory in nature.
