The app will be available to users in the U.S. first, with a wider rollout to other markets to follow. It will also be included in the app offerings for HTC's planned Exodus smartphone, a blockchain-focused device announced by the Taiwanese firm during CoinDesk's Consensus 2018 conference in May.
HTC did not disclose a specific launch date for the Exodus, but said it expects to launch the phone in the third quarter of this year. The Verge reports that the phone is expected to cost around $1,000.
