**Coinbase adds 'experimental' label to some crypto assets**
Coinbase has added a new "experimental" label to some of the cryptocurrencies listed on its exchange, the company said in a blog post on Monday.
The new label will be applied to assets that are "newly created, have a limited track record, or are otherwise considered to be higher risk," Coinbase said.
The company said that the new label will not impact customers' ability to send, receive, buy, sell and/or hold assets on Coinbase.
Coinbase said that it will continue to evaluate assets for the "experimental" label and may remove them from the list if they meet certain criteria, such as:
* The asset has been listed on Coinbase for at least 90 days.
* The asset has a daily trading volume of at least $1 million.
* The asset has a market capitalization of at least $100 million.
Coinbase said that it will provide customers with more information about the "experimental" label in the coming weeks.
