**Singapore's securities regulator seeks feedback on proposed digital asset wallet framework**
The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking feedback on a proposed regulatory framework for digital asset wallet providers.
The MAS said in a statement that digital asset wallet providers play an important role in safeguarding digital assets on behalf of clients, and that the proposed framework would set out requirements for such entities.
The MAS did not provide details of the proposed framework, but said that it would be open for public consultation until Aug. 14, 2020.
The regulator recently added Binance and eToro to a list of companies not authorized to operate within the country, saying the two firms did not comply with its securities laws.
