CM-Equity is a licensed entity in Germany and fully authorized to offer these products. All FTX users who want to trade these assets will have to go through the KYC process of CM-Equity. In addition, all transactions will be monitored by CM-Equity.

FTX will list tokens that represent these assets. For example, if you go to ftx.com/trade/TSLA/USD, you are trading a token that represents Tesla stock. These tokens are backed by Tesla shares held in CM-Equity. In the future, the exchange said there will be multiple ways to withdraw these tokens from the FTX platform.
