The hacker who stole more than $3 million from the cross-blockchain protocol Poly Network has returned the funds, saying they did so to “call attention to the vulnerability.”
The hacker, who goes by the moniker “Mr. White Hat,” said in a message to Poly Network that they had always intended to return the funds after exploiting a vulnerability in the protocol.
