**Cardano's Vasil hard fork delayed for a few weeks**
The development team behind the Cardano (ADA) blockchain, Input Output, announced on July 28 that it would be delaying the Vasil hard fork by a few weeks.
Kevin Hammond, Head of Technical Department at Input Output, said:
"It may still take a few more weeks before we can deploy Hard Fork Vasil. We are conducting tests to find errors and fix them. All of the network components need to make hard fork to ensure the upgrade takes place smoothly, both for them and Cardano users."
