The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) issued a statement on Monday, saying that it is aware of the recent increase in the trading of crypto assets and derivatives, and that it is concerned about the risks associated with these products.
The CSA said that it is working with its provincial and territorial securities regulators to assess the risks of crypto trading platforms and to develop appropriate regulatory responses.
