**Ondo Finance launches four new DeFi risk-hedging vaults**
Ondo Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol founded by two former Goldman Sachs traders, has launched four new risk-hedging vaults.
The new vaults offer users the ability to either mitigate risk or maximize returns, depending on their investment goals.
“Fixed income remains the missing piece that decentralized finance needs to go mainstream,” said Paul Veradittakit, partner at Pantera Capital. “Ondo unlocks downside protection and relative certainty in forecasting returns for institutional investors looking to allocate to the attractive yields in the DeFi space.”
Ondo’s first two vaults, which launched in late July, had caps of $2 million and $5 million. Both vaults filled up “more or less immediately,” according to Ondo co-founder Nathan Allman.
The new vaults have a combined cap of $10 million.
