Binance sẽ tạm thời tạm dừng rút tiền ETH để hỗ trợ nâng cấp Ethereum 2.0.
Việc nâng cấp sẽ được kích hoạt ở khối 9.200.000, dự kiến sẽ diễn ra vào ngày 2 tháng 1 năm 2020 (UTC).Đây là ít hơn 1 tháng sau khi nâng cấp Istanbul trước đó.
Mục tiêu của việc nâng cấp này là trì hoãn những quả bom khó khăn trong 611 ngày.

The upgrade will be activated at block 9,200,000, which is expected to take place on January 2, 2020 (UTC). This is less than 1 month after the previous Istanbul upgrade.
The goal of this upgrade is to delay the difficulty bombs for 611 days.
Binance has also made the following notes:
- The ETH system upgrade will not create new tokens.
- The exchange will resume ETH withdrawals once the upgrade is complete and the network is stable.
