**Binance NFT to release NFTs of artworks from Leonardo Da Vinci and Vincent Van Gogh**
Binance NFT, the NFT platform of Binance, has announced a collaboration with the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg to release NFTs of artworks from famous artists, including Leonardo Da Vinci and Vincent Van Gogh.
The NFTs will be auctioned on the Binance NFT platform at the end of August 2021. Two copies of each NFT will be created, one of which will be auctioned and the other will be stored at the museum. Each NFT will be signed and recorded by the director of the Hermitage Museum, Mikhail Piotrovsky.
“New technologies, especially Blockchain, have opened a new chapter in the development of the art market, led by ownership and the guarantee of this ownership,” said Piotrovsky.
Helen Hai, the head of Binance NFT, said: “The recognition of Blockchain and NFTS technology by one of the largest museums in the world is another step forward to globally digitizing. We appreciate the opportunity to cooperate with The State Hermitage. Together, we will make history.”
All proceeds from the sale of the NFTs will go to the State Hermitage Museum. The NFTs will also be displayed at the upcoming NFT art exhibition of Hermitage, which is expected to take place at the museum this fall.
