**Binance to launch futures platform with up to 20x leverage**
Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is set to launch a futures platform with up to 20 times leverage. The platform will be available in a testnet version in a few weeks, with a full launch expected soon after.
The announcement was made by Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao at the company's annual developer conference in Singapore. Zhao said that the futures platform will initially support trading on bitcoin, with other cryptocurrencies to be added later.
