**Belgian Regulator Warns of Crypto Scams**
The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) of Belgium has warned consumers about a number of cryptocurrency scams that have been targeting Belgians.
The FSMA said that the scams typically involve scammers promising riches in easy steps, regardless of prior knowledge of cryptocurrencies. However, the agency warned that "in the end, the result is always the same: the victims find themselves unable to recover their money!"
The FSMA has provided a list of the domains that it has identified as being involved in these scams. These domains include:
* **cryptocurrency-investment[.]club**
* **cryptocurrency-trade[.]club**
* **cryptocurrency-mining[.]club**
* **cryptocurrency-signals[.]club**
The FSMA has not shut down or blacklisted these domains. While this has occurred in the past - for example, coin mixing service Bestmixer.io was shuttered this past spring by Numerrean authorities - the FSMA does not have the ability to shut down sites it suspects of fraud.
The FSMA is urging consumers to be wary of any cryptocurrency investment opportunities that seem too good to be true. If you are unsure about a particular investment, the FSMA recommends that you consult with a financial advisor.
