The company announced the news in a tweet on February 7th, 2014, but it did not make a big announcement about it. As a result, the news spread slowly through social media and message boards.
Aria sells a wide range of computer components, including fans and cooling accessories, processors, power supplies, hard drives, and more. The company also sells laptops, TVs, and video game accessories.
Customers who want to pay with bitcoin must log in to their accounts and enter additional information before they can see the bitcoin payment option.
Aria is the latest computer-focused e-commerce company to add bitcoin as a payment option. TigerDirect announced on January 23rd that it would start accepting bitcoin, and Scan Computers, one of Britain’s biggest computer retailers, revealed last week that it would start taking bitcoins via Bitpay.
