**Grayscale Bitcoin inflows hit record $600M as BTC price hits new highs**
Grayscale Investments, the world's largest digital asset manager, saw its Bitcoin inflows hit a record $600 million in the week leading up to December 18, as the price of the cryptocurrency surged to new all-time highs.
The inflows brought Grayscale's total cryptocurrency assets under management to $15.5 billion, up from $13.5 billion the week before. The firm's Bitcoin Trust is now worth $13 billion of that total.
Bitcoin hit a new record price of $24,273 on Sunday. At the time of publication, prices were trading at around $23,450.
Grayscale is owned by Digital Currency Group, the parent company of CoinDesk. The firm allows institutional investors to buy shares in its crypto trusts, gaining exposure to the asset class without having to own the assets directly.
