The developers of Ethereum Classic (ETC) have proposed a new "monetary policy" that would limit the total supply of the cryptocurrency to 230 million ETC.
The plan, which is outlined in a blog post, envisions a hard fork being implemented in the summer of 2019, with the goal of starting to release software clients that support the new policy in the fall.
